Deep bowl with wide, flared spout; edge of rim decorated with applied band of shells and "S" scrolls; bowl fastened to an oval base decorated with gadrooning; handle is "S" shaped, wide at top and narrowing to bottom; decorated with a shell near bowl and a stylized foliate motif at top of handle; marked on the side: "J R" in a circle; crown, lion, lowercase Gothic "n".
