Tapered handle, downturned and with cat head on the back side; bright cut ornamentation covers the handle on the front side; bowl is shell shaped with a scalloped edge; three sets of names are listed on the back of this handle beginning near the bowl and reading left to right: "P.L.K." is denoted in recessed letters. "K.S.& J Ettenheimer" is in raised letters enclosed in a rectangular box, "W.W. McGrew" is denoted in recessed lettering; "Carrie" is engraved in script on the front of the handle; possibly made in Philadelphia by P.L.K. and retailed by Ettenheimer of Cincinnati, Ohio.
